The problem
Fighting fittings is the worst part of drip irrigation.
There’s a name for it: “drip irritation.” Hot water, lighters, slipping pliers, and still a blowout when the water turns on. Look familiar?
The fix
We fixed it.
IrriGlide is the patented tool that warms drip tubing in seconds, so fittings slide on with an easy push. It fits in one hand, and retires the pliers for good.
Softens tubing in seconds
IrriGlide gently warms the end of your drip line, so fittings slide on with an easy push. No wrestling, even with rigid tubing.
Leak-free, first time
Half-seated fittings are why drip systems leak, blow out, and need mid-season repairs. IrriGlide seats the barb fully the first time.
Save your hands
Retire the pliers. No more raw thumbs or wrist strain. Big installs stay comfortable from the first row to the last.
The story
It all started with a hot cup of water (heated in the microwave)
“Every time I expanded the drip system in my garden, the ritual was the same: microwave a cup of water, carry it out to soften the tubing, wrestle every barbed fitting, and hope nothing popped loose in the summer heat. Cold mornings made it worse. I tried a lighter, I tried pliers, and I have the scars to show for it. I finally asked the engineers at Expertise Engineering here in San Diego: what if the tool warmed the tubing instead? A few prototypes later, fittings were sliding on in seconds. And the patent office agreed nobody had done it before.”
